Tokumei Sentai Gobusters

The the massive surprises we got yesterday from the 36th Super Sentai series, Tokumei Sentai Gobusters (特命戦隊ゴーバスターズ), it didn't last long before the actual plotline for the series to be revealed:

"A long time ago, among moutains far from any civilization, there was a center researching on human innovation. One day, the main computer of the research became malicious and went berserk. Humanity managed to stop this, and peace came back...or so it seemed.

Humans, now in peace, predicting that their enemy could go berserk and attack another time, decided to build giant robots and machine, and trained chosen warriors to fight against it. Finally, this day has come. The name of the team formed to fight against the enemy is Tokumei Sentai Gobusters! Now their battle begin."

The team is composed of the Gobusters and their Partner Buddy Roids:RedBuster, BlueBuster, YellowBuster, Chida Nikku, Gorisaki Banana, and Usada Lettuce. The catchphrase seems to be "It's Time for Buster!"


Their main mecha Gobuster-Oh will be made up of three individual mechas:

GobusterAce - Chida Niku transforms to cockpit for Red Buster, then the cockpit attaches to his BusterMachine, making it Buster Vehicle CB Cheetah (a race car). Buster Vehicle to Buster Animal CB Cheetah, and then Tokumei Henkei into GobusterAce.


GT-02 Gorilla - Gorisaki Banana to Cockpit and attaches Buster Machine to become Buster Vehicle GT Gorilla (a truck), which becomes Buster Animal GT Gorilla.

RH-03 Rabbit - Usada Letas to Cockpit and attaches Buster Machine to become Buster Vehicle RH Rabbit (a helicopter), which becomes Buster Animal RH Rabbit.


The Gobusters transformation device, the Morphin' Brace (モーフィンブレス), a wrist changer that releases shades for the heroes to transform. This is the official return of the wrist changers ever since mobile phones was used.

The Morphin Brace has a "Henshin Mode" (transforms the rangers), "Call Mode" (summons Buddy Roids), "Let's Driving Mode" (summons Buster Machines), "Analyze Mode", "Robo Mode" (activates GobusterAce), "Game Mode" (play a game using the dial on the MorphinBrace) and "Special Mode" (secret mode activated via the brace's dial).

The last users of wrist changers are the Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger (as a team), DekaBreak and BoukenSilver (sixth), GekiViolet, and Go-onGreen/Black.

Lastly, the Gobuster's weapons: the IchiganBuster, a gun disguised as a camera; and, the SouganBlade which is a sword disguised as a binoculars. Both can combine to form the "Ichigan Buster Final Buster Mode."

Tokumei Sentai Gobusters will premier on February 26th.

Kamen Rider Meteor Coming Soon?

A few days ago, we got an image scan with a silhouette what it seems to be a new Kamen Rider, along with Kamen Rider Fourze's supposedDouble Rocket States. And now, a new silhouette surfaced showing the rumored second rider for Kamen Rider Fourze.

According to previous rumors, the first alien Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Meteor will debut in Movie War. "Gray", from Mars, is the one chosen by "Meteor" and appears in Amanogawa High as a transfer student. He warns Gentaro about a “Great Space War.”

In the cast list for Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Fourze & OOO Movie Wars MEGAMAX,Ryo Yoshizawa was included with a role of “Mysterious Transfer Student.”

It is remembered that Minehiro Kinomoto was cast as the “Mysterious Man” during the Movie Wars 2010 film, before he was named Ryu Terui aka Kamen Rider Accel. Could he be the second rider for Fourze, or the rumored Kamen Rider Meteor?

Tokumei Sentai Gobusters

After the henshin device rumors, first casting rumors of the 36th Super Sentai Series, Tokumei Sentai Gobusters! In this latest casting rumor, it seems that the series will utilize the "Olympic" color motif.

• Red: Hideaki Kabumoto
• Black: Mayu Tomita
• Yellow: Kenjirou Nagashima
• Blue: Maika Miyashita
• Green: Shun Takei

The series will start with three members: Red, Black and Yellow, and not the usual Red, Blue and Yellow. It is also to note that Black is rumored to be a female, if it's true, she will be the first female Black in Super Sentai history.

Kamen Rider Nadeshiko and Poseidon Kamen Rider Nadeshiko and Poseidon

Finally! A brand new information about the upcoming Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Fourze & OOO: Movie Wars MEGAMAX revealed two new riders, Kamen Rider Nadeshiko and Kamen Rider Poseidon.

Kamen Rider Nadeshiko is a highschool student and wants to cooperate with Fourze. Gentaro is supposed to be falling in love with her too. The scan doesn't say whether she'll appear in the TV series.


Kamen Rider Nadeshiko sports a darker blue version of the Fourze Driver with only the Rocket Module as the available Astro Switch, while Poseidon sports a different version of an OOO Driver with what it seems to be a Shark, Whale, and Jellyfish.

It was previously confirmed that a festival called "天高祭" (Sky High Festival) going on in Amanogawa high during Fourze's Movie Wars MEGAMAX story.

Engine Machalcon and Kanzen GokaiOh Revealed

It was previous revealed that Bandai will be releasing a new waveKaizoku Sentai Gokaiger toys this last quarter of 2011. This includesGokaiMachine Engine Machalcon, Engine Sentai Go-Onger's Great Power.

“Engine Machalcon” unlikely resembles Engine Sentai Go-onger's Engine Speedor and an F1 Racecar. The DX version is about 1.5 times the size of PatStriker. It also comes with Go-onGold Ranger Key and two Engine Souls.


By default, it can combine with GokaiOh to form “Go-on GokaiOh”, same formation as Gao GokaiOh. And similar to GaoLion, it serves a dual purpose to combine GokaiOh and GoJyuJin to form “Kanzen GokaiOh” (barely seen on the top left of the 2nd image). 

Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger Ep 29 Preview

With another awesome episode of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger had finished, here is a preview of Episode 29: “Seven Forms of Rampage and a New Combination”. This will be a Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger tribute episode.

For the purpose of gathering the "Happy Energy" of women, Action Commander Daiyaaru is dispatched by Zangyack. By coincidence the plan runs across the Gokaiger, and the begin to fight Daiyaaru. However, when he goes large and the Gokaiger summon both GokaiOh and Goujyujin, Daiyaaru shrinks again and attacks. Somehow, the Gokaiger manage to get rid of Daiyaaru and return to the Galleon. There, Ahim thinks up a plan of her own to take down Daiyaaru! But, what is Aihm's plan? Also, could there be more to the "Abaranger's Great Power" than just Goujyujin? 

The former AbareBlue of AbaRanger, Yukito Sanjou (Shou Tomita), appears with his wife and secretary, Emiri Sanjou (Michi Nishijima), the self-proclaimed "former AbarePink." Ahim transforms seven times, could one of these changes be....AbarePink?!! 

Basco's Reasons, Galleon Buster & Two Tributes!

Now that Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger is halfway done, more rumors about what's going to happen in the upcoming weeks and rumors on the upcoming tributes has surfaced the web which mentions that two more teams that appeared in theSuper Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle movie will now appear in the main series!

Episode 32 - The focus is split two ways, but the main focus is on Don and his creation of the Gokai Galleon Buster.

Episode 33 - Dairanger tribute episode. Ryou of the Heavenly Fire Star(Tenkasei Ryou) aka Ryu Ranger who previously appeared in the Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle will make his appearance!

Episode 34 - Luka's backstory episode. 

Episode 35 - Go-Onger tribute episode which is possible to last for another episode. Sousuke Esumi aka Go-OnRed appears. The new Engine, MachFalconwill make its debut, Hiroaki Hirata best known for his roles in Tiger & Bunny's Wild Tiger, One Piece's Sanji and Johnny Depp's official Japanese voice actor will voice the new Engine.

Now for more rumors, turns out that Basco's betrayal was planned by AkaRed all along and Navi is aware of his betrayal. It is said that Basco has a special mission which requires for him to betray the Red Pirates. He is said to join the Gokaigers soon. Could this be the reason why there is a special purple LED light in the new Gokai Galleon Buster toy catalog with a shadowed Ranger Key figure in it?

It is also rumored that Gai Ikari aka GokaiSilver will die later in the series.

Kamen Rider Fourze Episode 2 Preview

With Kamen Rider Fourze's awesome debut, here's the preview of next week's episode entitled, "Space, First Class" which can also be read as "Eaves - Space - Upper - Class".Gentaro has transformed into Fourze, the man who is the body of the Orion Zodiarts has escaped. Kengo tells him that Gentaro it handing him the Fourze Driver was an 'urgent measure', and that using it is only a temporary thing. To let himself to be part of the gang, Gentaro tries to search for him, but he can't find a single trace since he's new to the school.Looking forward to it...

OOO Group Starts Filming Movie Wars MEGAMAX!

The filming for Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Fourze & OOO Movie Wars MEGAMAX has just started! It was confirmed on the four blogs of the cast members of Kamen Rider OOO. 

Namely, Mayuko Arisue (Erika Satonaka), Shu Watanabe (Eiji Hino/Kamen Rider OOO), Ryosuke Miura (Ankh/Shingo Izumi) and Riho Takada (Hina Izumi). Even if they didn't post any blog entries, Hiroaki Iwanaga (Akira Date/Kamen Rider Birth) and Asaya Kimijima (Shitaro Gotou/Kamen Rider Birth) are confirmed to appear in the movie. Below are some pictures coming from their respective blogs.

A shot of Ryosuke Miura's hair being fixed for some new work and based on how it is being fixed, it is safe to assume that this is for the movie. Also, Shu Watanabe'sentry in his blog is about him organizing his phone's image folder and asked where he can buy clothes while reading fan letter before the shoot.

Kamen Rider Fourze 01 – Youth Transformation

Our protagonist, ladies and gentlemen!

Now that OOO is done, it is time for next Rider to shine! The series opens with the same tone like the cold opening of Kamen Rider W which later fast forwards 17 years later in which we meet the three stars of this show, Kengo Utahoshi, Yuki Jojima and our main protagonist, a transfer student who didn't receive the school memo about the proper school uniform, Gentaro Kisaragi!

The first episode properly sets the tone of the series. The first thing the series set that they are studying in a Japanese high school with American student stereotypes, in which we have the punks, the nerds, the jocks, the party animals, the resident bitches, I mean, the cheerleaders, the football players and the most important part of the high school ecosystem, the freaks. I am fine with the series having this kind of setup, but I was expecting something more like a traditional Japanese high school that I often see in anime and other related Japanese media. But hey, at least it is fun to watch it. Also, they established that the series will be quite goofy with a couple of moments of awesome.

As for the characters, Gentaro will befriend anybody, even the ones who are bullying him or the ones who are acting like jerks and will punch them just for them to be his friends. I instantly love this guy. As for Yuki and Kengo, Yuki is one fun character to watch due to her personality while as for Kengo, he is the series jerk which I am sure, will water down after the show's 2nd episode; as for four other characters, namely, Miu (cheerleader), Shun (American football player), JK (the party animal) and Tomoko (Goth girl with an iPad), since they act based on the stereotype, so talking about them is not very important right now. 

Now to the Fourze System, I love it. Sure, the belt looks a bit bulky, but I prefer function over design since hey, who cares if you look good if you can't do something? The Astro Switch switching will take some time to use to, and it reminded me a bit of the Gaia Memories in terms of function, except that they don't imbue attributes but more like give you weapons in a similar fashion like that of Kamen Rider OOO's Birth System. As for the set of Switches that were introduced in the episode, they were impressive less the Radar Module for reasons that it acts like a communicator between the Rabbit Hutch and Fourze and that it's only function is for aiming at the opponent. 

As for the first Foodroid the BurgerMeal, I still find it stupid design wise. Granted I mentioned that I prefer function over aesthetics but who in the right mind will design a tracking device that looks like a hamburger? I mean its plain stupid. Seriously, if they want to go with the school theme, they can just disguise their gadgets into school supplies since it makes more sense. Heck, I am fine if they disguise one gadget to look like a football! As for the Power Dizer, I love it instantly. Its function as Kengo's exoskeleton fits well with the story considering that Kengo here is quite sickly and that he can't fight well. 

For the Zodiarts, I will reserve my judgement about it till the next episode since it seems that they will show the full origins of these guys. More on these guys, I love the foreshadowing of the eight other main Zodiarts. As for the mysterious man who is the school principal which we saw in the opening in the series, he has this vibe that he is the Ryubee Sonozaki of this series, except that he is operating in a small scale.
